Ham Radio Deluxe V5 and HRDlog

Today I installed the newest version of Ham Radio Deluxe V5. This still beta version worked well! After I had imported the v4 logbook (a few seconds!) I uploades it to the online logbook of hrdlog.net. This online logbook is great. It can generate script to uso on your web-site or blog. On the top right of this blog you can see the status of my station, the working frequency and the Rig I am using. Under this "On Air" sign you can see the 10 last entries of the logbook.

There is also a posibility to search my logbook just by entering your call-sign end hit the "send" button. Not all of my QSO's are digital so if your callsign is not there it does not mean I never worked you. I still have to do some work on this.

If you are looking for a nice piece of software try it! It even has a DX-cluster feature and is capable of too many things. Just download and install. Have fun!

Logbook Update

Log_update_15112009 Today after church it was raining. We drank coffee with the family and I went to the shack. Worked a new DXCC (ES4RC - Estonina PSK31) and the band collapsed. Time to update the logbook. I had a pile of QSL-cards wich had to be processed. I use The HamRadioDeluxe logbook so I started to prosess the confirmed QSO's. Some QSO I could remember, others I did not realy knew I ever worked this DXCC. At the end of the afternoon the pile of cards was gone and the score on DXCC was 60!

The program, HRD, can also give you some statistics, but the Digimode software Digital Master 780 from Simon, HB9DRV,  (it uses the same database for logging!!) makes nice charts... here are some..

Guess what's my favourite band?

Lu9edNow you all wonder what's my best DX... well it's LU9ED, 11.517 km.

As you can see on the map with the plots some continents needs some attention. What will be the score in one year? I will let you know.
